From puppies to seniors and everything in between, we know dogs, and we know how to give each one the appropriate care they truly need.
We can offer basic training to assis your dog while in our service and we know trainers we can recommend for additional training if needed for pups who require just a bit more.
Safety, security, a positive experience, and minimizing the risk of negative incidents — these are the core reasons to hire a professional pet care provider.
It’s true that we cannot always compete on price with a teenager down the street who has few expenses and can offer services at a lower rate. But as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Many unlicensed individuals have limited experience, no formal training, and little or no insurance coverage or emergency protocols.

We carry insurance, employ mature and knowledgeable staff, are trained in Pet First Aid, and understand canine behavior on a professional level — not only your dog’s behavior, but also the behavior of every dog we may encounter on a walk. We recognize body language, triggers, and signs of stress, fear, anxiety, excitement, and aggression. We know how to assess approaching dogs and respond appropriately, greatly reducing the risk of unpleasant or dangerous situations. Your pet may be gentle and well behaved — but what about other dog they may approach?
Do unlicensed individuals possess this level of knowledge and experience? Some might. Most do not. Loving dogs or owning dogs does not automatically mean someone understands canine communication or can accurately interpret what a dog is telling them. Nor does it always ensure a safe and positive experience. Every dog is unique. How many ads do you see.....I have dogs and love dogs? Well I have cars and love cars but it certainly does not qualify me to be a Nascar driver.

We understand breed tendencies, individual needs, and emotional states. We quickly learn your dog’s personality, preferences, routines, and comfort levels. Years of hands-on experience and professional training allow us to care for your pets properly, safely, and with genuine affection.We often identify behavioral issues that owners may not have noticed, are new or that may have been misunderstood. We will advise the owners of any finding we notice or if we notice any changes. When appropriate, we work with dogs to help improve behaviors if asked to from you. Just as every person is different, every dog is different — which is why we tailor our services to the individual needs of your pet, ensuring both a positive experience and a safe and fun environment.
We do not simply clip on a leash and go or stay at your house whil boarding and ignore your pets.
Can anyone walk or pet sit a dog? Certainly. But can they recognize and correct undesirable behaviors? Can they accurately read the body language of unfamiliar dogs approaching on a walk? Can they consistently keep your pet as safe as possible? Is there an Emergency plan or protocol? Are they insured in case of an accident? Do they have Pet first aid in case of an accident?
It is a gamble with those with little experience. These are questions you need to ask. Any dog at times, even if rare, they can be unpredictable and these situations require experience and a high level of knowledge.
This is a demanding profession that requires experience, knowledge, patience, and skill. We have personally witnessed dog walkers and pet sitters who lacked the training and expertise necessary to manage situations safely. Some very sad outcomes. Unfortunately, this industry is largely unregulated — meaning virtually anyone can advertise dog walking services — and take your money.
If you want the best possible care for your pet at a reasonable rate, hire a professional. If your primary concern is simply just finding the lowest price, then the kid down the street may be a better fit.
Ultimately, your pet’s safety, well‑being, and happiness are in the hands of the person you choose. Just be aware that there can be a significant difference in the level of care provided — and with that difference comes a difference in risk. I strongly reccommend using a pro, even if not us.
